if you want more glue you can use this recipe instead
-3 cups water (boil)
-1/4 cup flour 3/4 cup water (mix)
-1/2 cup sugar (stir in)

For flour and water I recommend getting the cheapest stuff you can find since the quality really doesn't matter, you'll get the same glue no matter how nice your materials are.
Also go with all-purpose flour to keep it simple.

Make sure you stir a lot so that there are no globs of flour in the mix otherwise your glue will be hard to spread and the globs will show up on your poster.

The glue should keep for about a week but it's best to use it as soon as possible.

When you leave it to cool it is a good idea to occasionally stir the glue to keep a film from forming on the surface.

The wider your paintbrush the easier it is to cover as much surface as possible.

Also don't forget to wash out your brush with water after in order to avoid it drying and turning into an unusable, hardened mess.
