Iron Man exploded onto the pop culture scene when the character emerged from Marvel Comics C List straight to the top with Robert Downey Jr's portrayl of Tony Stark in the original Marvel Cinematic Universe movie - Iron Man. But Shellhead was already an animation star from the 1990's when he had his own animated cartoon and action figure toy line from ToyBiz. These five inch action figures featured great play value and lots of vac metal parts - and then Hasbro and MiniMates expanded on the toy offerings with action figures of their own.
