Exploring the Themes of Mahler's Symphony No. 9

Join Music Director Brett Mitchell and a virtual ensemble of Colorado Symphony musicians as they explore Gustav Mahler's ninth and final symphony. Mahler's masterwork was written during one of the most difficult times of his life, and the sorrowful, achingly-beautiful themes act as a summation of his career. "This symphony," notes the composer, "says something I've had on the tip of my tongue for the longest time."
