Southern Folklore - The HAUNTED Three Legged Lady Road | MISSISSIPPI TRIP DAY 1

Today we are in North Mississippi checking out some Southern Folklore such as The HAUNTED Three Legged Lady Roday! As the story goes, motorists who want to see the Three-Legged Lady should stop on Nash Road, turn off the headlights, and honk the horn three times. After doing so, the Three-Legged Lady knocks on the roof of the car and then races the driver to the end of the road, hitting the car with her body the entire time. There are several stories about the Three-Legged Lady and how she ended up with an extra limb. Some say the third leg was removed from a dead lover and attached to her body.

Others say the Three-Legged Lady is actually the ghost of a mother, searching for her dismembered daughter. In this case, the third leg is all the mother found of her daughter.

This is day 1 of our Mississippi Trip! Get ready for some haunted stories, Americana and all things Southern for the next few episodes!
