J-Tech Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology Program offers ASE/NATEF based training in the automotive maintenance and repair industry with an emphasis in logical diagnostic procedures and effective repair methods.

Students receive classroom and laboratory training using modern test equipment and specialized tools. Students gain a high level of proficiency through hands-on experience in laboratory settings that replicate real work environments. Students will be trained on electrical and HVAC, engine performance, suspension and steering, brakes, and transmission diagnosis and repair.

The Automotive Technology Program prepares graduates for entry-level employment as an automotive repair technician in a global industry. Upon successful completion of the Automotive Technology Program, graduates are awarded an Occupational Associate Degree (OAD) in Automotive Technology. Approximate completion of the Automotive Technology Program is 91 credits.
