Garden Paradise in the Middle of the Yangtze River: BAGUA ISLAND

Join us for a day of foraging in the garden, cooking foods I’ve never seen or tried before, and exploring the Zhao family’s garden patio and collection of mysterious items acquired from over a decades of living in Africa 🌻

We encountered Ms Zhao on a trip to Bagua Island about a month ago when I was lured over to her fence by the lush variety of plants and we started chatting. I love encountering friendly interesting people when I am out exploring, it lets you get so many more perspectives on life in another country. Hope you all enjoy this afternoon on Bagua Island 😎 Hoping to make a return trip soon!
