Why it's hard to understand English speakers
One of the reasons it can be hard to understand English speakers is we don't always say what we mean. Really! We often say one thing, when we mean another!
In this lesson you'll learn how to understand when people drop hints in English and make indirect requests.
We look at some common ambiguous English phrases and explore the social benefits that ambiguity can bring.
We designed this video for language learners, but viewers with Asperger's syndrome have reported they have found it helpful too.
