Travels by Historic Narrowboat - Part Two

Gooday everyone and it's time to join Gorse and I as we leave our overnight mooring near Nateby on the Lancaster Canal, and continue towards the city of Lancaster.

The weather forecast for the following day isn't looking too good, so I decide to make the journey to Lancaster in one go.

However and despite a message to the contrary, our progress is about to be halted, for several days.

It's looking like 'mission over' . . ?
