Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Life by the Drop” cover

I get off to a rough start on this one. It’s hard to channel the King. Stevie Ray Vaughan crushed every song he played, every time he played it. I still watch with my jaw dropped to the floor. This song was written by Doyle Bramhall, who was a high school buddy of Stevie’s. The song is about their friendship. They played in a couple bands together, but not on the level that Stevie achieved later. The song was released on the Album “The Sky is Crying” in November, 1991, 14 months after Stevie’s death.
