Thermostatic Expansion Valve TXV VS. Piston Fixed Orifice! HVAC Metering Devices!
This HVAC Training Video is about Thermostatic Expansion Valves TXV's vs Pistons. I go over Metering Devices and how the TXV is different than the Fixed Orifice along with the safety, efficiency, and service procedures involved. I compare 4 major points of difference and how they affect the installer's decision to use them. I go over refrigerant charging procedures and troubleshooting practices as well!
Supervision is needed by a licensed HVAC Tech while doing this as Experience and Apprenticeship garners Wisdom and Safety.
