Stampede Pass Camping

Huge trail network with so many scenic spots along the way. We chose the coldest day of the month to do this. Forecasts had changed so much over the course of a week getting colder until snow showed up with as much as 11 inches on Friday. Although there didn't end up being that much snow the temperatures almost reached record lows for October 24th at 14degrees which later changed to 17. We were scheduled to camp on higher elevations that night and it was indeed cold but we prepared well for it.
