Edo Governor Blames Opposition for Insecurity — But a Retired General Just Kpaid in Captivity
The Governor of Edo State has made
a very serious allegation. He is
saying the opposition is responsible
for the wave of insecurity destroying
Nigerian lives across the country.
That is a bold claim. And if it is
true — Nigerians deserve evidence.
Because insecurity has become far
too deadly for political point scoring.
But while politicians are busy
blaming each other something
deeply tragic happened. A retired
military general — a man who spent
his entire life defending Nigeria
and its citizens — was kidnapped
and died in captivity.
And now I want to ask the governor
and every politician making this
argument one simple question.
Was this retired general also a
victim of opposition politics?
Were the farmers massacred in their
villages victims of opposition
politics? Were the commuters
kidnapped on Nigerian highways
victims of opposition politics?
Were the school children taken
from classrooms in Oyo State
victims of opposition politics?
Or has insecurity in Nigeria grown
into a national crisis that is
completely beyond party lines?
Because the average Nigerian does
not care whether the person behind
insecurity carries an APC card,
a PDP card or a Labour Party card.
What Nigerians want is safety.
When they leave their homes in
the morning they want to return
alive. And when retired generals
who spent their careers defending
this country are no longer safe —
ordinary Nigerians have every
right to ask whether anyone
is truly safe anymore.
In this video I play the governor's
clip, break down the allegation,
connect it to the tragic death of
the retired general and ask the
questions that Nigerian politicians
refuse to answer.
Because insecurity does not ask
for your party card before
becoming your problem.
📌 What we cover:
- Edo Governor's full allegation
that opposition is behind
insecurity — clip breakdown
- Why this allegation requires
evidence not just statements
- The tragic death of a retired
military general in captivity
- The questions every Nigerian
needs to ask their politicians
- Farmers, commuters, school
children — who sent their
attackers?
- Why insecurity has gone beyond
party politics in Nigeria
- What concrete steps the
government is actually taking
- Wild Nigerian reactions and
comment analysis
- Our honest verdict — political
blame game or governance failure?

think insecurity in Nigeria is
being sponsored by opposition
politicians or is it a deeper
governance failure that goes
