MarsOvca, Celebrating Magnificent Pag Lamb with a Magical Festival in Stara Novalja

When Anthony Bourdain visited, he said that Croatia had world-class food, world-class wine, world-class cheese. And there is perhaps no better place to test that than the island of Pag, which has the best lamb in Croatia, as well as its most famous and most decorated cheese. And the wine is pretty good too!

The place to be in April was Jadra Beach in Stara Novalja, for the outstanding MarsOvca food festival, celebrating lamb in various forms. A community coming together to celebrate its heritage, and a gastro feast in a stunning setting for those who came along.
