Hello, the Provoked Prawn here, with an unboxing and review of the Razer Audio Mixer, which is surprisingly similar the GoXLR and that's no bad thing, let me tell you! In this video I'm showing you what's included with the Razer Audio Mixer but also covering the features, showing you how to set it up, what settings to tweak to get the SM7B sounding great and much more.

The Razer Audio Mixer is an easy-to-use, all-in-one analog mixer for broadcasting and streaming. It's designed to take an XLR mic and other inputs and allow you to have total control over your output sound. Meaning you can customise things like levels of audio from various sources including 3.5mm, Optical inputs, XLR and software sources. This includes game audio, chat audio (from Discord), music (e.g. Spotify) and more. You can then easily mute or adjust levels on the fly. You can also choose what gets routed into the mix, then use that single mix in OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS or other software.

The results are impressive too. It's also really easy to setup with Razer Synapse 3.

4 channel interface - 1 direct line out for your mic and 3 other channels which can be customised or include mic, game, music/chat, and system volumes
Dedicated mute channels for each channel
Beep button to stop you swearing
Voice changer settings
EQ settings, Noise gate and compressor settings to reduce background noise and get you sounding great
The ability to work with 3.5mm microphones as well as XLR
The mixer supports XLR mics and can boost their output thanks to an ultra-clean low-noise-gain preamp with adjustable gain from -12dB to 39.7dB at 0.75dB per step.

Highlights for me:
- Easy setup of even a mic like the Shure SM7B, with phantom power and noise gate tweaks
- Also works with 3.5mm headset mic (unusual) or USB mic for monitoring that
- Customisable in loads of ways, with multiple 3.5mm inputs and outputs as well as optical
- Compact size doesn't take up much room on your desk
