Early Morning Planespotting in 4K at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Int’l Airport, BOM

This video includes just 25 minutes of spotting at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport

Filmed freehand using a 4K Sony AX53 video camera

Mumbai is a very busy hub for air travel in India and hosts many internal flights aswell as some interesting international visitors

The filming location for this video is from a hill that overlooks the airport fence in a slum area, the location is difficult to get to however provides a perfect overview of the taxiway and all movements for runway 27 whether that be arrivals or departures
Filmed between 5-6am then 7-8am in lighter hours

**I must however stress like written in the video itself. Spotters are not welcome, I was not aware of this as there were videos online from this location
Locals seem to have it less strict and are more accepted in this area to take pictures however a foreigner here will quickly be noticed and removed
This was by far the most interesting ordeal I’ve ever had whilst trying to film including a run in with corrupt police officers and officers turning up at my hotel room door asking me to delete footage so I would advise against attempting to get any pictures/videos here and I was told it’s very similar all around India which is a shame but that is their policy and it should be respected**

Here is some of the footage I managed to retain, I had more but was asked to delete, I didn’t want it to go to waste so here is the small amount I had downloaded before being seen by security
