Otis Johnson was released from prison in August 2014 for a crime he has never admitted to. Despite that he has no grudges and takes it one day at a time. He works closely with and receives help from various non profit organizations in Harlem, NY. Recently he was recruited to work at Harlem Restoration Project as a "Title V" employee. Title V enables those 55 with little or no job prospects to find work in services. Otis volunteers frequently outside of work and speaks regularly at high schools and colleges to criminal justice students about how to fix the reentry system.
