All of the oncoming cars screeched to a halt. I was lying in the middle of the road, with blood spilling out of my face and head, my right leg was twisted at an unnatural angle. John McBride or Mr. McB, is our PYP tech coach and MYP Design teacher. He originally comes from New Zealand and is passionate about keeping fit and healthy by playing sports and exercising. One of the favorite parts of his job is being a surf club coach, however, his talk will tell us how he was literally centimeters from never being able to surf again.
