As one of the toughest games in the genre, it took quite an effort to record it, but it was worth the effort. Michel Ansel's creation was and still is a thing of beauty, demonstrating what 32-bit technology could bring to the realm of 2D side-scrollers.

When I started remastering some of my old recordings Rayman was very much one of the titles I wanted to upgrade. I still had the original recording, so I wanted to make sure I could get it encoded and uploaded before anything might happen to it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new 4K encoding of Rayman. It's an 8x upscale over the original game's resolution (320 x 240) - the artwork is only as good as the original source material, but everything should be much sharper and with less macroblocking than the 720p encoding (particularly in high moving scenes).
