Ponso est un chimpanzé mâle adulte. Il est venu d'un laboratoire près de Monrovia. Il a été libéré avec d'autres chimpanzés sur une île, près de la côte en Côte d' Ivoire. Les autres chimpanzés sont morts et Ponso a été déplacé sur une petite île près de Grand Lahou, où il est soigné par un homme local appelé Germain. Ponso a été testé pour pouvoir déterminer son avenir.

Ponso is an adult male chimpanzee. He came from a laboratory near Monrovia. He was set free with other chimps on an island, near the coast in Cote d'Ivoire. The other chimps died and Ponso was moved to a smaller island near Grand Lahou, where he is looked after by a local man called Germain. Ponso has been tested to see where his future lies.
