Dave Rubin: Joe Biden ‘doesn’t know what he is in 2020’

President-elect Joe Biden doesn’t know what he is in 2020, even though he has been presented as the sensible centrist, says American political commentator Dave Rubin.

“Joe Biden is 78 years old, it’s fairly obvious to everyone that he has a significant level of cognitive decline,” Mr Rubin told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“He has trouble reading off a teleprompter and when he’s not on the teleprompter he muddles his words, he can’t really speak, he loses his train of thought and the rest of it.”

Discussing how the incoming president has been presented as the sensible centrist yet wholeheartedly embraces identity politics, Mr Rubin said he doesn’t think Joe Biden “knows what he is in 2020”.

“That really is the danger,” he said.

“Truly I don’t think he’s in charge, I don’t know who’s in charge.”
