Rashod Bateman is a true no.1 X receiver

Due to his 2020 season being disrupted by Covid, I jumped back into his 2019 tape to see why he is so highly regarded.

What I saw was a fantastic route runner at all 3 levels who already shows the veteran savvy to set up his defender and fool them into going the wrong way.
Bateman consistently made spectacular catches and bailed out the poor QB play around him.
He also showed the wiggle to always make the first man miss and create extra yards

Bateman's biggest weakness is his release. He stands with too wide a split and this causes him to have to take a false step off the line and drastically slows the speed of his release.

With the depth at WR in this draft, Bateman is going to make someone extremely happy at the end of the 1st/beginning of the 2nd
