Vindicator Valley Mining Ruins Hike Log, Victor (Cripple Creek), Colorado, with Building Photos

Vindicator Valley is an easy hike in the two-mile range with around 500 feet in total elevation changes. The trail is flat, maintained well, and allows close access to many of the mine buildings. As a note, don't enter or touch the buildings, but instead photograph and view them with an appreciation of how difficult it would have been to build this type of infrastructure at around 10,000 feet (3,050 meters) elevation in the 1800s and early 1900s. The link below provide a much more detailed history that I can here. Suffice to say, the area has an interesting history and is a great place for ghost town photography in a controlled and safe setting.
