REPAIR Rotted Out Screw Holes with WOOD EPOXY PUTTY!

Here you’ll see how to keep screws from falling out of an oversized ahole by filling in that hole with wood epoxy putty.
The screws in my doorstop were loose and upon tightening they came loose again. I saw that the screw holes in the door had become too wide. A fatter screw wasn’t going to work with the doorstop hardware so I decided to fill in the wide holes with a wood epoxy putty by JB Weld, reinsert the screws, and that did the trick.
