Welcome one and all to the first part of this new mini-series, The Angry Video Game Nerd Retrospective! This series combs through the internet phenomenons history, highs, and lows, and reviews the various seasons and specific episodes of the nerd throughout its over 150 episode run!

This first entry we'll be covering the humble beginnings and history of James Rolfe himself as well as the very first season of the titular character and see how the show evolved and slowly shaped into one of the most important internet series of all time.
