Karr vs. Warren Easton was billed as the most anticipated matchup of the 2018 season and the matchup exceeded all expectations. Karr 2020 QB Leonard Kelly accounted for over 250 yards of offense thanks in part to a plethora of impressive catches by WRs Khalfani Simmons, Jahii Howard and Larry Junior. Recent UTSA 2019 RB commit Ronnie Jackson also found the end zone in the contest, as did Easton 2020 RB Ashaad Clayton. Many expect this to be the first of two matchups between the teams as they landed on opposite sides of the bracket in the Class 4A playoffs.
