Sending HOT messages to my wife on Minecraft

My wife's first appearance on the channel! Can we decode messages sent using smoke signals and Morse code?

I built this crazy redstone contraption to send messages in Minecraft using smoke signals. It's not pretty, but it works (most of the time). My wife and I each have 5 attempts to send and decode a message, and we get a cake for every correct answer.

Warning, these messages are HOT (to say nothing of my wife!). Seriously though, campfires will burn you, be careful.

Note that some very clever people have come up with way cooler smoke signal mechanisms than this (seriously, go check them out!), but hey, this works, and I learned a lot about redstone in the process.
