WHAT TO DO IN MEXICO CITY | Eileen Aldis

I fell in love with Mexico City and am sharing some of my favourites to do, see, eat, and explore in this beautiful capital city. You can visit the Palacio Nacional for free and see Diego Rivera's incredible murals that detail the history of Mexico from the time of the Aztecs to after the revolution. I was excited to spot Frida Kahlo's face in one of the murals too! Nearby you can visit the cafe in the Sears Tower to get a fantastic view of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. For just the price of a coffee, you can sit and enjoy the view of the stunning surrounding buildings, the park, and the mountains in the background. It's a great pit stop as you're exploring the Zocalo. My favourite neighbourhood in Mexico City is Roma Norte. If you're down in the Zocalo and don't have a lot of time I suggest taking an Uber. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and parks. I loved to walk around and explore here. It's very rewarding and you never know what you're going to find! If you're hungry, head to El Moro for churros and hot chocolate. The long line outside tells you it's good ;) Another area I really enjoyed is Coyoacán which you might recognize as the home turf of Frida Kahlo. It feels like a smaller town within Mexico City and the pace feels a little slower. Don't forget to make a wish in the fountain! I hope you enjoy this video!
