Swedish S Tank

One of two Swedish S Tanks that the American Wartime Museum has in their possession. These things are awesome, especially considering they were developed in the 50's when we were still using the Patton and Chaffee tanks of late WWII and the Korean war. It is the first turbine engine driven tank, and outstripped the rest of the world when it came to advanced systems for the time. While it didn't have the ability to fire accurately on the move, it did use two engines (one diesel and one jet turbine) had advanced articulated suspension systems (which were used to elevate and traverse the main gun) and featured auto-loading and fire controls at the driver's disposal which meant that even though a crew of three was proposed, the driver could actually man the tank all on his own if need be.
