Book of Daniel - a Brief Overview

This is a very brief overview of some principal aspects of the book of Daniel the Prophet, who lived between the 7th and 6th century BC. God chose Daniel to prophesy before the heathen Kings of Babylon and Medo-Persia. Although he spent the majority of his lifetime under Gentile captivity, he continued to worship the true God of the Bible, regardless of the opposition around him. God upheld his good testimony throughout his lifetime and his fine example of godly living leaves us with a role model for the Bible believer who lives in the face of great opposition today.
