Man rescued after near drowning in Clovelly, NSW
A man has been rescued by his friends and lifeguards in Clovelly this afternoon after a near drowning.
The 29-year-old male got into trouble whilst snorkelling on the patrolled beach.
He was pulled to shore and treated by lifeguards prior to arrival of paramedics.
The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Surf Life Saving supervisor George Shales says it's extremely important to swim at patrolled beaches with friends.
The man was taken to hospital for observation and is expected to make a full recovery.
