Phantasialand 2018

Phantasialand is a theme park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Filmed from my visit in May/June 2018 where I stayed at Hotel Matamba with a Park View room and went in the park for 3 days, including 3 hours of ERT (Extra Ride Time) in Klugheim - where hotel guests have the opportunity to ride TARON and RAIK 30 minutes after the park closes. You can then do extra laps for a whole hour!

CHIAPAS
Chiapas, DIE Wasserbahn is an Intamin flume ride. It is located in the park's Mexico area. Its 53° drop is the steepest drop on a log flume in the world.

TARON
Taron is a multi-launch steel roller coaster manufactured by Intamin. The ride is situated in the 'Klugheim' area of the theme park, a mythical village reflecting Old Norse cultures. The coaster sits in a canyon of basalt rock at the edge of the village. During the course of the ride, the train crosses over or under its own track 116 times at 58 intersecting track points, more than any other launched roller coaster in the world. The second launch section is in the lowest point in the canyon and it is taken without pause, accelerating the train to its top speed of 72.7 mph, making the fastest multi-launch coaster in the world.

Other notable attractions include: Black Mamba, Colorado Adventure, Raik, Mystery Castle, River Quest, Winjas Fear and Force, Talocan, Maus au chocolat, Hotel Tartüff, Hollywood Tour, Temple of the Night Hawk, Geister Rikscha and Feng Ju Palace.
