Synopsis:
This plumbing job is certainly overkill. I wouldn't typically purchase a $500 sump for a 40 gallon breeder tank. But I made a video for Marine Depot and I just had it lying around, so I figured why not.

The sump costs about $500, the overflow kit is about $80, and then all of the plumbing supplies cost me about $300, so the total was around $900. Yeah, that's a lot.

But honestly, the aesthetics of this hobby are just as important to me as the functionality... And this thing really pops in my living room. You almost can't tell I'm using a $50 Petsmart tank and $200 Chinese made black box lights!
