Neuse River Trail - Raleigh, NC - Cycling VLOG #5 - Beautiful paved river trail of bridges

Neuse River Greenway Trail is a 28 mile trail that runs along the east side of Raleigh, North Carolina from Clayton, NC via the Sam's Branch extension, to the Falls Lake Dam northeast of Raleigh.

The trail is fully paved and relatively flat except for a few sections that don't exceed 3-4% grade. Many bridges run along the trail with connecting trails available to travel toward downtown Raleigh.

I was in the area visiting family and this is a trail I try to get out on at least a few times while I'm down there. If you're in the Raleigh area, check it out! There are plenty of great sights and landscape to see along the way. Beautiful river views, interesting ecology, the trail even has it's own suspension bridge!
