in this video tutorial i will show you how to make a simple kite buggy using olt things that i found in the junkyard.the cost of this buggy is only 60$ for the tyres but all the remaning comoonents i was able to find them for free.
i spent a lot of time and passion to paint and cover the kite with mimetic fabric so that it looks like a vehicle form the movie mad max!
i am considering to make some suspensions on the back.
have you got any suggestions?
I took as a frame to build myself an old shopping cart, I like its shape and remember the original frame of a kite buggy bought in store,
my buggy will never need to be disassembled so I've welded all the components together in a definitive and fixed way.
on the other hand, the journey from the gareage where I keep it to the lake will be solmqanete.
the location of the video is Italia- Sardegna-sassari- lago cuga,
an old artificial lake that is now dry.
I used wheelbarrow wheels and the steering of an old bicycle to put everything together.
so as you can see in this video tutorial, is very simple and easy to buil.
i just recycle an old shopping cart, some other rusty chairs..
the tatal cost of this buggy is very low.
i had a great time building it.. and usuging it.
hope this dry lake stays like this for ever!
