Champions of Women’s Health Video – Brigham and Women’s Hospital

For decades the science that informs health care, from disease detection to treatment, has overlooked sex differences in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, putting women’s health at serious risk.

This video, which commemorates the historic 1993 NIH Revitalization Act and discusses progress in eliminating gender inequities, features interviews with leaders from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, current and former Congressional representatives and members of the scientific community.
