Ultimate, Portable, High Power, Solar Generator

The design was the only part that took me awhile to figure out. The components were mostly just off the shelf. Except for the SBMS120, which is the heart of the system. Electrodacus.com is where you can get it, but you might have to wait awhile for Dacian to make some more. You can get a solar charger elsewhere, but it won't be near as good. electriccarpartscompany.com is where I got the batteries 72Ah aluminum, but there are several places you could get them. Just make sure you get some that have a top and bottom cap so they can be connected together to make one battery. I made an aluminium angle frame around the battery, with a flat aluminium top to mount the SBMS and for a heatsink which the SMBS will need if your pushing a lot power through it. I used a Plano sportman trunk. They are heavy duty (I saw a video of some guy jumping up and down on one.) Cut a hole in the top so the battery would fit inside, but the SBMS would be outside the top. Used Anderson plug connectors so I could remove the top of the box or battery easily. They also made it easy to connect different charging sources like solar panels, or a power supply. Along with different types of loads or multiple batteries connected together. I used a Cotek 2kW 24v inverter which I like, but there are others that would work also. Review the video to see how it all fits together. Hopefully that will be enough to get you started.
