This video explains the anatomy and osteology of the cuboid. A left bone is used.

1) Inferior Surface -- peroneal sulcus, peroneal ridge, beak of cuboid
2) Medial Surface -- oval articular facet for third cuneiform
3) Lateral Surface -- peroneal notch, sometimes, an of peroneum is present
4) Anterior Surface -- two facets divided by a ridge
5) Posterior Surface -- Saddle shape
6) Primary Center of Ossification -- 9th month of fetal development
