How to make it fun to speak in language No. 2 more often (Bilingual Parenting Tip)

There can never be a perfect balance between the two languages a child uses when they grow up bilingually, and there will be many phases where the child prefers one language over the other. Rather than "forcing" them to speak the less strong language, I think it's more helpful to help the kid feel more confident in their skills in language No. 2.

바이링구얼로 자라난다고 해도, 두 언어의 실력이 완전히 똑같을 수는 없습니다. 그래서 아무래도 한 언어를 다른 언어보다 선호하는 시기가 (자주) 올 수밖에 없는데, 그럴 때마다 "영어로 해야지!" 아니면 "한국어로 말해야 돼!"라고 강요하기보다는, 부담을 덜어 주면서 더 재미있게 그 언어를 사용할 수 있게 해 주는 게 더 도움이 되는 것 같습니다.
