Shou Sugi Ban office countertop

I decided to build a countertop that would sit on some filing cabinets in my home office. It was a good excuse to try the technique called Shou Sugi Ban. The only "grrrr" part, was that the wood used - simple 2x10 framing lumber - warped a bit as it dried after it was glued and clamped up. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the end result.
