Glass artist Andrew Thompson and the MPLS Glass team create a coiled cane vase

Andrew Thompson has developed a unique way to assemble a cane vase. He prepares something like a traditional ballontini, but then shapes it into a wrap, which he then coils onto a collar on a pipe. Here Andrew works with Todd Cameron and Jeff Sorensen at the MPLS Glass studio to create a finished vase.
