My May Budget Calendar #shorts

Steps To Setting Up Your Budget Calendar:

1) Write days of the week & fill in days
2) Write down ALL pay days
3) Write when all your bills are due & their amounts
4) Write down any appointments, events, birthdays, holidays (optional)
5) use the highlighter method to categorize your calendar.

You can use the highlighter method in many ways:
1. Highlight each pay day with a different color. Then highlight the bills that are getting paid w a specific paycheck w that same highlighter color. Ex. If you are paid on the 1st, and your water bill is due on the 1st, highlighter the payday and the water bill w the same color because you are using the paycheck you received on the 1st to pay your water bill.
2. Highlight all paydays, bills, and other with the same color, & then make a key for yourself to remind which color represents what on your calendar. (This is what I do)

I categorize my personal bills separate from my business bills, although I use all of my paydays (from business income and part time job) to pay both. I just like to separate it that way.

Hey 👋🏾 I'm Taylor. I'm 26, a single MAMA to a beautiful baby girl; I work part-time and am a GRAD STUDENT (master's degree in Clinical Psychology; hence the amount of debt 💆🏾‍♀️). I have less than a year til I graduate.
I started really paying attention to how much I spent once I realized I was living paycheck to paycheck, and couldn't justify where all my money went. I finally sat down, tracked my spending for two months, and was like WOAH! 😩 I was spending so much on Amazon and eating out; it needed to stop.
I wanted to find ways to save (although I had already been doing that), but save more and start paying off student loan debt early! But how on such a LOW INCOME?!
It's possible!!! So here I am, taking you along my journey to being DEBT FREE, and saving for my daughter and our future!
I have BIG GOALS and I'm going to reach them all! In Jesus Name! 🙌🏾
