Amália Por Amor - Hayley Westenra - BBC Proms in the Park Belfast 2012

Hayley Westenra singing the six minute tribute song to Amália Rodrigues, Amália Por Amor (For the Love of Amália) the famous Portugese Fado singer and actress, who died in 1999. It was composed by legendary film composer Ennio Morricone and first performed by Dulce Pontes.

Hayley sung this at the Belfast Proms in the Park, Titanic Slipways, on the last night of the Proms, in front of a capacity crowd of 7,000. BBC Northern Ireland said 55,000 tickets were applied for.
