Repositioning a Wall-Hung Basin in a Tight Bathroom Plumbing Job from Manchester to Lower Brailes

In this video, I take you along on a plumbing journey that involves driving two and a half hours from Manchester to Brailes to reposition a wall-hung basin in a bathroom I installed just a few weeks ago. Although the original basin placement was agreed upon, my customer reached out asking if we could shift it slightly to create more space between the toilet and basin.
This bathroom is one of the smallest I've worked on, and while I wasn't sure the space could comfortably fit a shower, toilet, and basin, we managed to get everything installed and working, much to the customer's satisfaction. In this video, I’ll show you how I removed the basin, repositioned all the pipework, drilled new fixing holes, and used R-KEM 2 epoxy to secure the basin with 10mm threaded bar.
The job was tricky due to the tight space, but I share my thoughts on the tools I used, including the Rothenberger Super Fire Pro blowtorch, perfect for those small, confined areas where precision is key. The BAHCO spanners, with their striking red and green handles, not only stand out visually but also made the job easier with their ergonomic design.
This was a weekend plumbing job, with an overnight stay at Professor Plumb’s place before an early start on Sunday to wrap things up before noon. I also brought Sam along to help pick up the old van since his had some issues. It was a quick, efficient job, and I’m happy with the final result!
