Bridge Over Troubled Water by Revv52

Simon and Garfunkel first recorded what would become their signature song fifty years ago. Our cover highlights some of the gospel roots of the song in a terrific arrangement by Kirby Shaw. Released on May 31, 2020, we were thrilled to have members of the Revv52 band join us for the first time in a virtual video.

While our original intention for “Bridge Over Troubled Water” was to deliver a message of hope during the pandemic, the outpouring of solidarity and humanity that rose from social movements across the United States last summer provided another perspective to the lyrics.
