We attended Andy’s parent's singing performance last night. Their smiles and the joy that radiated from them while singing was so heartwarming 🥰

Andy and I hold fond memories of our parents taking us to all our extracurricular activities growing up. Now that all the kids are out of the house, our parents get to explore the hobbies they never got to when they were busy raising us. And we love that.

Father's Day is also about remembering that while our father is our 'dad' in our eyes, he's also a human with his own hobbies and interests. He's more than just a dad. And one thing I admire about Andy's dad is that he didn't lose himself in being solely a father. He still plays ping pong and goes to singing class, and he loves other sports like volleyball too! We can only hope that we are as active as he is when we're older!
