Surviving Winter with Plants! 5 tips for new plant parents

Hello Planterior Decorators! 🌿

As a Canadian, my plants need to survive ~180 days below 0°C (32°F)! I'll go over my top 5 tips to having happy plants through winter.

My 5 Tips:
1. Bugs: treat your outdoor residents thoroughly before ever bringing them inside!!
2. Water: water less! Learn to water plant-by-plant & lose the schedule! Having a schedule suits you, not your plants.
3. Light: growlights are a want, not a need!
4. Humidity: make sure your humidity loving bebs are tended to with pebble trays or humidifiers
5. Fertilizer: halt this altogether until the Spring! Let them rest now so they can explode with growth in the Spring
