THE BATTLE FOR DURTHANG! Building a Mega Army | Dawnless Days: Gondor Hard Campaign - Part 52

Following the tragic fall of Cirith Ungol and the death of Boromir, the armies of Mordor are pushing deep into our territory in Part 52 of our Total War: Dawnless Days Gondor Hard Campaign!

With the Wild Men of Dunland finally broken in the west, we are scrambling to build a "Fortress Europa" and stabilize our borders. However, Mordor isn't waiting. They bypass Minas Morgul and immediately lay siege to the strategic mining town of Durthang. Outnumbered and relying on a tiny garrison, we are forced to utilize the tight chokepoints and overlapping fields of archery fire to hold back multiple waves of heavily veteran Orc forces.

While Durthang desperately holds the line, we are funneling all of our newly freed resources into Barahir's massive new mega-army, preparing to counterattack and plug the gap at Cirith Ungol before the hordes of darkness overwhelm Gondor entirely!
