The Doctor Who Secretly Delivered the Atomic Bomb
Jim Nolan is trying to make sense of his grandfather’s role in helping build the atomic bomb. His grandfather, Dr. James F. Nolan, was a physician on the Manhattan Project. He served as physician to the secret research community in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He delivered babies. He helped plan safety measures for the first A-bomb tests. And he escorted the so-called “Little Boy” atomic bomb from Los Alamos to the base where it would take off to be dropped on Hiroshima. #InsideEdition
