What's New in Operation: Motherland (Breakpoint)

This is The Unlucky Lads first play of the new free title update, called Motherland on Tom Clancy's Breakpoint. Set after the events of the story mode the Ghosts must help the outcasts regain control of Aurora, which has been divided into tactical areas, each with its own missions and buffs for completing each section.

The update has a very Wildland's feel (which was the Ghost Recon before Breakpoint) and in some ways feels like the game the fans wanted 2 years ago. Each missions has an impact of the area and taking on the 60+ missions will help the Outcasts take back control of the island without anyone ever knowing the Ghosts were there.

From this first play you'll notice this was our first time on the new update and there was a lot to take on and learn, which means this video jumps around a fair amount. To make things easier for you to watch, we will add in chapters so that you can skip to various parts that we tested, from Optical Camo to Weapon Tests, and New Vehicles to the Patrols/ New Enemy Types. This long video will play the first 3 missions and show the new XP levels in action as well as the new weapon specialisation that can be acquired with skill points.

In our opinion the new update ticks many boxes of satisfaction, it feels like Ubisoft has reacted well to negativity surrounding their proposed new game 'Frontline' and is now delivering this free title update for Breakpoint which truely feels like a new game. We imagine there will be a good few hours of gameplay to be experienced which is sure to pull back old players and please newcomer/ long term players just as much. Will people still want more and find faults, almost certainly, but from our first 3 hours exploring this new game mode called conquest, we are pleased and happy to see a game many fans were crying out for 2 years ago.
