Benefits that regular meditators report include: greater clarity, more creativity, more energy, more intelligence, more awareness and more joy. Whoa! That's a pretty good list. The reverse is when the conscious fog settles in. As we lose consciousness, we lose joyfulness, intelligence, awareness until life becomes overwhelming and strain, stress, misery, suffering and disease becomes our reality. Meditation can teach you how to develop a state of consciousness that isn't able to be overwhelmed.
